Community Inpatient Unit provides Rehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service promotes faster recovery from illness, prevents unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, supports timely discharge from hospital, and maximizes independent living wherever possible. Multi-professional staff collaborate with individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level of independence, health, and wellbeing.

Salary Range: £21,841 (under 21) - £23,600 (over 21) fixed salary point pro rata per annum.
Community Inpatient Unit is a bed-based facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care, and promotes independent living. It is a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and care staff.
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for individuals to join our team as recovery workers, with both day and night hours available.
As a recovery worker, you will support patients with personal and nutritional care needs, working with nurses and therapists to deliver enhanced care, and support individuals to regain independence via motivational and encouragement techniques.
Ideally, you will have the NVQ/QCF level 2 and/or previous experience in the caring sector; however, there is an opportunity for training and completion of NVQ/QCF 2 for the right individual.
