Job Description:
Artemis Human Capital is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading NI firm with UK presence.
This role combines business development and account management, so we are looking for highly motivated, results-driven professionals with a strong sales background. We are particularly interested in candidates from motor retail looking to transition into fleet sales or those already in a fleet role seeking a new opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular engagement.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities via phone and field-based sales.
* Sell vehicles primarily through contract hire and other funding solutions.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of fleet management and associated services (training provided).
* Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments.
* Monitor and report sales activity levels to the Sales Manager.
* Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
* 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience.
* Background in the motor trade (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident using technology and business software.
* Proven track record in new business development through proactive sales efforts.
* Full driving licence (age 21+ for insurance purposes).
