EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MURMUR
Murmur launched earlier this year with the goal of uniting the art and music industries in addressing the climate crisis. Our vision is a society in which artists are informed advocates, operating in climate literate and responsible industries, and collaborating with world-class environmental organisations.
We work with leading art and music businesses who, through Murmur, are funding the initiatives that will change the industry, change the conversation, and the environmental organisations that are changing the world. Murmur had received pledges of over £1m towards these initiatives at the time of launch.
In the months to come, we will also launch Murmur Artists Support in collaboration with climate and music communications experts including Groundswell, part of the Global Optimism movement, and Richard Dawes (dawbell PR). This programme will support artists who want to speak up on climate and on behalf of the planet, unlocking the enormous potential of cultural actors to drive change.
Murmur is a registered charity based in the UK.
