Knowledge, skills and training
Essential criteria
1. BSc/BA Occupational Therapy
2. Diploma in Occupational Therapy
3. Registered Occupational Therapist with HPC
Desirable criteria
4. Post Graduate qualification
5. Membership of Special Interest Group
6. Knowledge of alternative sources of information and supply of equipment and adaptations
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
7. Previous experience in rehabilitation with adults and older people
8. Experience developing and implementing Occupational Therapy Programmes for Complex Conditions
9. Experience of supervision of staff
10. Previous experience of working in the community
11. Proven post-graduate OT experience in physical, neurological- disability and learning disabilities
Managerial / Supervisory Experience
Essential criteria
12. To attend and fully participate in supervision with the designated professional supervisor
13. Ability to manage a demanding workload to agreed deadlines and timescales
Additional requirements

14. Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, adequate to enable the post holder to carry out the role effectively
