18Recruitment are actively seeking a Head of Mobilisation, working within Block and Estate Management for a leading Property Management company. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the North West or willing to relocate.
They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition of newly awarded contracts. They will work closely with the Bid Team at the tender stage, oversee the mobilisation phase, and ensure a seamless handover to the Operations Team.
The primary objective will be to establish strong client relationships and ensure all mobilisation actions are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
2. Manage administrative tasks, including compiling asset registers, printing H&S documentation, and setting up PPM planners.
3. Provide training and support to sites on business processes and procedures.
4. Review tender/contract scope of work and develop a retention strategy.
5. Identify and mitigate risks or challenges that could impact successful contract delivery.
6. Lead the mobilisation, re-mobilisation, and de-mobilisation of contracts.
7. Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring all mobilisation actions are completed on time.
8. Coordinate with internal business support departments throughout the process.
9. Work closely with subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed within budget and agreed timeframes.
10. Chair weekly meetings/calls with the operations team and clients, providing progress updates and sharing the mobilisation plan.
11. Offboarding Management and Compliance. Oversee offboarding of lost developments, ensuring compliance and flagging risks.
12. Progress Tracking & Risk Mitigation. Monitor demobilisations, assign ownership, and create mitigation plans to ensure smooth transitions.
13. Stakeholder Relationship & Business Retention: Prioritise key relationships with clients to secure future business and manage project instructions effectively.
Key Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years working with Block and Estate Management at Senior level.
2. MTPI/ MIRPM qualified desirable or AssocRICS.
3. Experience within Mobilisation and Bid work working within the Property Management.
4. Highly organized professional that understands the requirements for handing over management of developments.
5. Possessing project management experience and successfully lead the implementation and adoption of new projects.
6. You will be a confident communicator who is able to build relationships and influence stakeholders to find creative solutions to challenge.
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 (DOE)
