What Does the Role Involve?
Our service is made up of 6 separate, welcoming bungalows near Llanelli town centre, where we provide dedicated support to six incredible individuals. Each person has unique interests and abilities, and we tailor our support to ensure they live life to the fullest-whether that means engaging in hobbies at home, enjoying community activities, or exploring new places.
This is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding role where you will provide essential care and genuine companionship to people with complex health needs including SALT Plans, PEG feeding & epilepsy. You will play a key role in empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives, achieve personal goals, and maintain their independence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect Administering medication safely and effectively Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, including PEG feeding (full training provided) Ensuring a comfortable home environment-laundry, tidying, and daily living support Being a strong advocate for non-verbal individuals, ensuring their voices are heard Building relationships with families and keeping them informed Supporting individuals on outings-from trips to the beach to shopping and community activities Accompanying them to day services to encourage social engagement and development
