As Finance Business Partner you will oversee financial control for major projects, working closely with a range of Managers across the business on financial and commercial matters. Description The key duties of this job include: Oversee financial monitoring of customer projects throughout their life cycle Develop and maintain forecasting systems and models in line with standards Support the preparation of forecasts and business plans Track and report on opportunity/risk management Facilitate cost control and ensure accurate cost apportionment Benchmark financial performance between projects Support the financial accounting team during the annual audit and preparation of financial statements Collaborate with stakeholders to develop common reporting templates across the business Strengthen financial systems and processes to enhance performance Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders Continually improve professional competency and financial service provision across the organisation Profile The successful candidate will have: Experience working in a busy finance team, with a strong background in financial analysis and modeling A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field ACA Qualification or equivallent Excellent analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in Excel Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues The ability to prioritise a demanding workload and meet strict deadlines Experience in complex financial modeling and analysis Knowledge of working in multi-site or large organisations A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous development and improvement.
