Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal

We have a unique opportunity for a part time RVN to join our well-equipped practice based in Dartford. You will be joining a strong nursing team with over 75 years of combined nursing experience. Our friendly team consists of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 Head Veterinary Nurse, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Animal Nursing Assistant who are supported by our wonderfully efficient Receptionists. Rota Patterns that work for you
This is a part time position of up to 24 hours per week, ideally working across a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. You will also be included in our Saturday rota (1 in 3 Saturdays) and in turn you will receive time off in lieu the following week. There is no OOH.

What will the role involve?
Our Registered Veterinary Nurses are the absolute backbone of our practice and generally have a hand in most areas of the day to day which include carrying out schedule 3 procedures (subject to appropriate training), anaesthesia monitoring, scrubbing in, looking after our inpatient care, carrying out various types of nurse clinics, completing laboratory duties and much more. There will also be some reception duties when needed such as: taking telephone calls/inpatient enquiries, stock control and ordering and unpacking orders.
