- Belfast MCS group are excited to be working exclusively with a leading charitable organisation in the local community, currently seeking a Recruiter on a full-time, permanent basis to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Recruitment professional looking for career progression, or an HR Officer aiming to specialise in the recruitment function.
The role As a Recruiter, you'll lead hiring efforts across the organisation's services, developing strategies to attract and assess diverse talent.
You'll also drive innovation, improving and streamlining recruitment through new tools and processes.
The main responsibilities Lead end-to-end recruitment in your assigned area, including sourcing, service visits, and strategy execution.
Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and marketing to create job ads, interview materials, and assessments that reflect the organisation's values.
Keep internal systems updated, ensuring timely candidate communication and full task completion.
Support and coordinate the full interview and offer process, including panel preparation, pre-employment checks, and onboarding.
Use data-driven insights to choose the most effective and budget-friendly sourcing channels (e.g., referrals, LinkedIn, social media).
Ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with GDPR and regulatory standards.
Regularly report hiring progress and pipeline status to the Head of HR.
Ensure recruitment practices prioritize the needs of those we support, including involving them in hiring where appropriate.
Organize and attend recruitment events, headhunting where needed.
Partner with marketing to drive innovative recruitment campaigns and promote the organisation's employer brand.
Continuously seek and implement improvements in recruitment processes through cross-team collaboration.
The ideal candidate Experience in a recruitment role, preferably in a similar organisation Experience leading high volume recruitment campaigns Communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across various levels IT skills
- Proficient in the use of ATS and Microsoft or Google suite.
CIPD qualification or relevant 3rd level degree.
