I am working with a high:end, multifaceted venue in Oxford who host a variety of exciting events throughout the year. We are seeking an experienced event operations manager to join the team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hospitality and events operation across conference bookings, through to high profile fine dining dinners and events.
The Role:
* Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of events
* Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
* Build and lead a high:performing team
* Optimise sales and control costs
* Managing external suppliers and contractors
* Bring innovative solutions to the department
* Deliver outstanding customer events experience
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in conference and events
* Detailed understanding of budget management and cost control
* Strong man management skills
* Experience working on large or multi:site venues
* Excellent communication skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional standards
