Lead Credit Risk Analysts
to £48,000 + bonus & benefits
The purpose of the role is, through data analytics and modelling, to build, monitor, maintain and optimise the risk/reward decisions. The role will also provide risk oversight to acquisition programmes owned by business & commercial teams. This will cut across a number of different products within the UK credit card market and encompass new product launches in addition to existing product optimisations.
You’ll also be responsible for analytical support in designing credit policies for new acquisitions. This includes the setting of credit or risk parameters for all programs impacting customers to ensure loss rates remain within risk appetite whilst the expected reward is achieved.
Candidate Profile
1. Analytical ability - Well developed analytic skills with a clear understanding and meaningful experience in performing data analysis using SAS.
2. Excellent Excel skills and solid PowerPoint capabilities.
3. Teamwork - Ability to work with and in cross-functional and virtual teams.
4. Communication - Effectively and concisely communicate key issues and ideas through correspondences and verbally without supervision. Interface with various departments effectively to ensure project delivery.
5. Innovation - Able to identify and deliver new ideas that address important business issues.
6. Conceptual thinking - Strong strategic thinker with good intellect and ability to focus on value generation.
7. A numerate degree 2:1 or higher or equivalent work experience.
