DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
MJ Quinn Energy and Critical Infrastructure division is a multi-disciplined integrated service provider headquartered in Liverpool. Specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, our expertise includes energy-efficient solutions like LED lighting, adiabatic and CRAC cooling units, air source heating, solar PV systems, and battery storage.
JOB OBJECTIVE
Lead the quantity surveying team in overseeing commercial aspects of engineering projects, ensuring effective contract management, financial control, and value optimisation.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
* In-depth understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in commercial management.
* Awareness of construction costs, and industry developments.
* Proficiency in commercial management software and tools
* Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Demonstrable experience of commercially managing complex projects using NEC and JCT.
* Highly effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Outstanding organisational and time management skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
* Advanced conflict resolution, emotional awareness and resilience in handling challenging situations.

* Hours of Work: Mon- Fri 08am-5pm
* Rate of Pay: Negotiable
* Work Location: L11 0EL
* Travel Requirements: Occasional travel
* Holiday Entitlements: 25 days + 8 bank
