Full Stack Developer
Location: Farnborough, with travel as required to client premises
Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, plus Company Bonus and Benefits

The Role
Parico is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to work on exciting and dynamic projects who prospers against the challenge of working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You’ll have the freedoms to be truly innovative to roll up your sleeves, experiment and develop novel technical solutions to our customer’s complex problems.
In your role as a Full Stack Developer, you'll be leading the charge in designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions. Leveraging both cloud technologies and on-premise infrastructure elements, you'll create innovative IT systems tailored to meet our clients' unique needs. You'll be the guiding force for our team of dedicated Software Engineers, mentoring them to achieve success in their careers.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead and develop the design and implementation of software applications as distributed applications/micro-services.
* Champion the cause of web application security. It's not just an afterthought - you'll ensure it's embedded at the core of our codebases, making our software robust and reliable.
* Be an advocate for clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
* Support our quality assurance team by developing detailed test strategies and unit tests for all software applications.
* Embrace and promote agile engineering principles with a drive for automation.
* Collaborating with a close-knit Software Engineering team, quality assurance team and Project Managers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
* Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
Essential criteria:
* Operate as a technical polyglot with a track record of delivering production code across a full-stack environment.
* Demonstratable experiencing in designing and developing relational database schemas for use across MySQL and PostgreSQL relational database services.
* Comprehensive knowledge of industry good working practices and development principles (e.g. Anti Patterns across Software Architectures).
* You're comfortable developing in a microservices environment, familiar with auto scaling, loosely coupled, secure, and resilient services.
* Experience with Angular and Svelte as a frontend framework.
* Skilled in designing and developing REST based API services in (11+)/Spring/Spring Boot.
