Job summary The post holder will support the Deputy CIO in leading the Electronic Patient Care Management System (EPCMS) and team to ensure that procurement work stream and programmes are planned and carried out effectively and will have specific lead responsibility for Electronic Patient Care Management System (EPCMS) procurement and programme management. The Senior EPCMS Programme Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure that the desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered. The post holder will ensure that all resources allocated to the EPCMS programme are used efficiently and effectively and will lead the transformation strategy to support delivery of benefit realisation plans. Main duties of the job Programme management and delivery To lead the development of EPCMS strategic transformation and operational plans with input from relevant clinical leaders and operational senior managers To develop and implement project and programme plans to ensure effective delivery of EPCMS project. To manage and provide assurance on EPCMS project within the Trust's internal governance processes and structure. Manage risk effectively, escalating issues and developing mitigation plans, as necessary Provide strategic overview to all project stakeholders. Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, persuading and influencing organisations and individuals to participate in the projects. Disseminate findings of the projects amongst stakeholders and at meetings and report as and when. Programme Development Develop and implement a programme management system to ensure the EPCMS programme is properly managed and best practice is shared across the Digital Service team wider NHS organisation Lead the EPCMS Programmes and Project team, embedding best practice processes and providing appropriate management controls to ensure that the portfolio is governed effectively and successfully delivers to the Trust digital strategy vision.
