We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes.
The site has been instrumental in the research, development and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting future developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3 and the Libre Sense system.
We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people’s lives. As a result of strong business growth and industry-leading product development in the biosensor business, we have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Design Quality Assurance team.
The Role
With a strong background in design control, you will serve as the primary representative for the Quality Assurance function on cross-functional project teams.
You will offer Quality Assurance expertise and guidance to the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects encompassing product development, material characterisation, analytical method development and design verification/validation.
Day to day, this varied role will see you working in collaboration with the Research & Development, Clinical, Operations, Engineering and Regulatory teams worldwide.
Requirements
To be successful, you will ideally be degree qualified in a related discipline and bring experience of working in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment. Experience of analytical method development, validation and transfer is desirable.
The ideal candidates will be proactive individuals who take initiative and are able to work within a team. You will need to have good communication, analytical and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
