Role Overview
CCTV Monitoring: Review and monitor all activations, providing appropriate responses based on risk assessments.
Staff Welfare: Ensure the safety and welfare of all staff on duty.
Alarm Handling: Receive and manage intruder alarms, fire alarms, student lockouts, and other calls.
Incident Management: Log all incidents clearly and concisely.
Call Traffic Management: Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously.
Data Management: Ensure all logs and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Additional Tasks: Perform all other tasks associated with a security control room.

The operator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the control room by monitoring the welfare of on-site officers, overseeing CCTV activations, handling alarms, and performing all other associated tasks. This role involves responding to incidents, coordinating resources, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
CCTV SIA Licence required
Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to meet targets and prioritize events efficiently in a calm and controlled manner.
Willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
Experience working in a control room environment is beneficial.
Familiarity with Timegate, BigChange, Immix, and Calipsa is advantageous
