About The Role
Mrs. Alice is at an exciting growth phase where the customer is at the heart of it. This role will be very much accountable for driving the customer experience on the website and through email communications. It will suit someone that wants to really understand D2C brands and how and why customers shop. They will own the strategies & tactics to continuously know our customers better and improve the experience.
Here's what you'll be working on:
CX
* Accountability for the Mrs. Alice website and checkout, ensuring it's optimal for customer engagement and sales.
* Design, plan, and implement new CX improvements to enhance the Mrs. Alice shopping experience.
* Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests to optimize performance.
* Technical implementation of new features to ensure scalability and alignment with growth objectives.
* Analyze data from tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Shopify (and through customer research) to inform decisions and track results, sharing with senior stakeholders and the rest of the business.
* Monitor site performance and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
SEO
* Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
* Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
* Scope and implement new technical SEO issues.
* Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
* Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
* Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects.
* Keep up to date with SEO and integrated marketing trends.
CRM
* Accountability for growing a loyal customer database and management of Mrs. Alice email programs to help drive incremental sales.
* Using CRM systems (currently Klaviyo) to manage relationships with Mrs. Alice customers and design and implement email marketing campaigns.
* Collect and analyze customer data to drive personalized and contextual experiences to increase revenue where relevant.
* Create and execute retention campaigns.
* Develop marketing campaigns to attract new customers through email.
* Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to improve the customer experience.
* Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue.
* Maintain and optimize a testing agenda for A/B and multivariate testing frameworks.
* Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
* Drive a customer-first approach to all email experiences.
Requirements
* This is an office-based role and can be either in London or in Peterborough, but must live local to either location.
* Experience managing a website (ideally Shopify-based) demonstrating improvements in conversion and engagement.
* Very proficient with a range of e-commerce tools e.g., Shopify Plus, Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.
* Technical experience to implement new features and enhancements.
* Experience in implementing SEO technical strategies and can demonstrate how you've grown this channel.
* Experience with email optimization and personalization platforms.
* Driven individual with the ability to solve complex problems autonomously in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
* Numbers-driven and goal-oriented.
