Academics are currently looking for enthusiastic Food Technology Teachers for flexible supply opportunities within their partnership secondary schools in Staffordshire and Cheshire East.
Whether it is a long-term contract or more flexible day-to-day cover, we focus the job search around you and look to provide you with the type of work you are looking for. Our supply opportunities allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work. These roles can be ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent positions in some of our schools.
We are currently welcoming applications from Design Technology Teachers with specialisms in Food Technology and/or Nutrition.
Food Technology Teachers who apply must:
1. Hold the relevant Design Technology qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
2. Be able to deliver exciting and engaging Food Technology lessons using your own creativity and initiative.
3. Be a confident motivator in the classroom, and can build excellent rapport with students and staff.
4. Have excellent practical knowledge of the national curriculum and a proven track record of working with students in KS3/KS4. KS5 experience would also be desirable, but not essential for our supply opportunities.
5. Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with us (cost applies).
Please be aware that your daily rate will depend upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available.
