M Seals UK is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the finance team at their facility in Leicester. Reporting directly to the CFO in Denmark, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within a successful international company. You will collaborate closely with local accountants, as well as colleagues in Denmark. Additionally, you will work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
* Handling Mastercard postings
* Supporting month-end reporting, including uploads via Hyperion
* Assisting in year-end closing
* Monitoring cash flow and working capital
* Collecting data and preparing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports
* Acting as a backup for accounting functions
* Contributing to reforecasting and budgeting cycles
* Calculating, reporting, and documenting transfer pricing
* Support sales with KPIs and sales analysis and other ad hoc tasks
Qualifications
* Financial background, e.g., graduate diploma in accounting
* Experience with ERP systems, such as MS Dynamics AX2012, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
* Prepared for transition to a new ERP platform within the next 1-2 years
