As part of a major project with the a aerospace business, you will play a key role in designing and developing electronic systems for cargo aircrafts. Your work will focus on analogue and digital electronics, particularly in integrating cameras for inflight entertainment, monitoring cargo bays, and logging available space. Additionally, you will contribute to a number of exciting field proposals involving servers, cameras, and more. Key Responsibilities: Work as part of the project team, developing analogue cameras, monitors, and servers for aircraft surveillance systems. Design electronics for cargo aircraft variants, including AI-driven solutions for machine vision to monitor cargo bays. Collaborate with customers on requirements capture, then relay technical specifications to the engineering team. Engage with machine vision systems to optimise unit loading, ensuring space efficiency. Contribute to inflight entertainment solutions, particularly during aircraft taxiing. Skills and Experience: Strong background in analogue and digital electronics design. Proficiency in Altium for PCB design. Experience with cameras and machine vision in surveillance applications is highly desirable. Familiarity with systems engineering and requirements capture from customers. A bit of embedded software knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a customer-facing role, so you'll need excellent communication skills to work closely with clients on these high-profile aerospace projects.
