Senior Broker

Aon are currently recruiting a Part Time Senior Broker to join our team in the UK on a fixed contract of one year. As a Senior Broker you will be primarily responsible for:
* Working with the Head of Natural Resources Facultative Reinsurance and team to maximise business production from both the Aon Re network and UK market.
* The Design and co-ordination of placement solutions for complex risks emanating from both retail and reinsurance network offices and clients.

What the day will look like
As a Senior Broker some of your key responsibilities will involve:
* Building and developing client relationships, both ceding Companies and Network offices
* Supporting growth strategies, including the optimisation of Aon Re facility platforms.
* Leading placement role, including strategy and programme design
* Management and mentoring of junior team members.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
As a Senior Broker your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
* Extensive knowledge of Power and Utilities market
* Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
* Experience of managing effective client relationships;
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent interpersonal skills;
* High level of numeracy;
* Effective communication and presentation skills;
* Excellent understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation;
* Ability to work well as part of a team;
* Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
