Would you like to work with a supportive team and have a positive impact on the young people we support?An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Wreake Valley Academy as an Examinations Manager on a full time permanent basis for 41 weeks per year. This role is varied and rewarding. We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who has excellent time management and planning skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient administration of all external and internal examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and awarding body rules. You will be the main point of contact for all key stakeholders in relation to the general administration of the examinations and assessments and will closely manage the process to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to. The postholder will also be required to recruit and train a team of Exam Invigilators as well as preparing the timetables of the examinations, therefore excellent organisational skills are paramount.
This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to further their exams knowledge in post and work with a wider supportive team.
Throughout the quieter periods of the year, i.e after the examination period the post holder will work collaboratively with the wider administration team to provide administrative support.This is an excellent time to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Wreake Valley Academy, as we continue to work collaboratively to deliver a high-quality education and meaningful experiences to our children and young people. The role does require some flexibility in the working hours to accommodate the busier examinations periods which occur throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate will:
• Be NVQ Level 4 qualified or equivalent in professional experience
• Have experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Have experience of building close relationships with wider stake holders
• Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
• Have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Have the ability to prioritise workloads
