OVERVIEW
Compass Associates are excited to be working with a Leading Private Healthcare provider on the search for a Senior ITU Nurse to join their specialist hospital in Birmingham. This £100 million, purpose-built, state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital will be a new private and NHS partnered hospital, providing high levels of care to patients. The hospital will provide care of all levels of clinical complexity, including cardiology, cancer, and complex surgeries.
THE CANDIDATE/POSITION
1. As a senior staff nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be able to provide clinical leadership.
2. Act as a mentor and role model.
3. Manage complex patient care.
4. Lead the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of the Ward Manager.
5. You will support individuals and the team to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality, and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Registered nurse with NMC pin.
2. Critical care course (minimum 30 credits).
3. At least 1 year of experience in ITU.
4. Neuro, Cardiac, or General ITU experience.
