Senior Project Engineer - Bolton - £40KThis role is part of the NPI & Projects team with a primary focus in cross functional leadership and support within Engineering and the New Product Introduction (NPI) Team.Key Responsibilities:Technical cross functional core team leader within Projects.Facilitate and drive coordination of technical deliverables across teams including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Procurement.Lead the planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, time and cost constraints.Perform risk assessments (e.g. DFMEA, PFMEA) to identify potential technical obstacles and devise mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Working with the design function to take data required for the production of development units and prototypes (design data, BoMs etc), ensure that is fit for purpose and issue it for loading into data systems (ERP).To ensure any Project/product data is presented in a manner that can be easily brought into ERP/MRPProgress the materials required for development builds and working with the procurement function ensure parts and materials are in place for development and prototype builds.Lead the development builds, overcoming and logging issues that arise for inclusion in subsequent development cycles.Support the Engineering Manager to create suitable product test programmes, ensuring they are carried out, and produce clear reports.Organise and follow through on external testing and approvalsWork with manufacturing to organise the data for manufacturing use and assist in creating manufacturing solutions for full productionProduce clear reporting on status of activities and test resultsProcess ECR and concessions to ensure product changes are managed and implemented.Ensure that engineering projects are disciplined in their approach to all Amscreen systems and processes (E.g.
