About therole:
To provide a high qualityeducation service for our students in accordance with Companypolicies, procedures and practices and the standards set by theRegulatory Body.
Responsibilities
* To secure highquality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standardsof learning and achievement for all students in consultation withthe Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and HOF
* To teach Artand Design to groups of students from all abilities according totheir educational needs and levels of ability, to include GCSEprovision
* Inconsultation with the Headteacher/SLT undertake other identifiedareas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective deliveryof the school’s curriculum
* To evaluatethe effectiveness of teaching and learning in Art and Design andprogress towards meeting agreed targets across the schoolrelentlessly focusing on the improving of teaching andlearning
* To secure, incollaboration with the SLT, high standards of teaching and learningin Art and Design
* Contribute toa lively and stimulating environment within the Art and Designdepartment
QualificationsRequired
* Teachingqualification (QTS)
* Previous experience of teaching Art andDesign
