Admin Assistant (Primary School - Burnley)
Position: Admin Assistant
Location: Burnley-based Primary School
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking for a dedicated and organised Admin Assistant to join our friendly team at a primary school in Burnley. If you are detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about supporting a school environment, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support to the school office, including answering s, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
* Assist with pupil attendance records, updating registers, and maintaining accurate school data
* Handle confidential information in line with school policies
* Support the management of school communications, including letters, newsletters, and social media updates
* Assist with filing, photocopying, and other office duties as needed
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the senior leadership team to support school operations
What We Are Looking For:
* Previous experience in an admin or office role (experience in a school setting is an advantage)
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT skills
* Ability to multitask and work in a busy school environment
* A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
