We are currently representing a fantastic firm based in Southampton where the Audit team is quickly becoming a vibrant community where young, professional team members can grow long-term careers in an industry they are passionate about. The team is currently looking to expand and is seeking an Audit Senior to join their 24-strong corporate team.
Role Overview
As an Audit Senior, the individual will work closely with department managers, playing a key role in the team’s success and the delivery of audit services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Completing audit fieldwork efficiently and to a high standard.
* Contributing to the success of the team by coaching and supporting colleagues.
* Confidently planning and completing audit assignments.
* Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues in a timely manner.
* Demonstrating commitment to team objectives and taking pride in both individual and team success.
* Continuously learning and developing skills to enhance professional growth.
Collaborative Relationships:
The individual will build strong relationships across all aspects of their work, including with:
* Clients
* Audit Managers
* Trainee colleagues
* Colleagues across the practice
* Directors
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Motivation to study for ACA or ACCA qualification.
* At least two years of experience in an accountancy practice or equivalent.
* Confidence in using MS 365 software, along with clear and effective spoken and written communication skills.
* A strong commitment to ongoing personal development.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
