We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our highly successful school to support an individual pupil in Year 1, as part of our fantastic and supportive team.
At Longwell Green, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to flourish, and know that the child joining our inclusive and supportive learning environment will do so.
You will be supporting a child who is enthusiastic about learning and achieving. With the right support to address their current physical needs, which are constantly improving, the child has the potential to thrive and work towards full integration with their peers, which is the long term goal. In this role, you will be led by the class teacher to deliver tailored support to meet their needs and help them achieve their best academically and socially.
To encourage independence, we aim to avoid forming a "Velcro" attachment where any child relies solely on one adult. As such, the role will involve times where you will work with other children receiving 1:1 support within the school. This approach helps both your assigned child and others develop the ability to work with multiple adults, preparing them for greater success in later life.
As a valued member of our lively school community, you'll have the chance to create a significant difference, embraced by exceptional pupils, encouraging community, and a united team committed to nurturing excellence in all. If you're enthusiastic about empowering young minds and creating achievement within a nurturing atmosphere, we welcome you to become part of our devoted team at Longwell Green.
