Bridgnorth Town Council is looking to recruit for one full time permanent position within their existing team. The Town Council have high aspirations for the delivery of its services and working with its community and partners to deliver an exciting future for its residents, visitors and businesses. Some Main Duties Of The Role Includes To carry out a wide range of general maintenance tasks and activities for the repair, maintenance and upkeep of the Town Council’s buildings and asset portfolio. To complete regular building checks and maintain a register including the findings for these regular building checks (e.g. fire, electrical safety, legionella etc) To be responsible for the routine planned works schedule, this is to ensure that the routine planned works schedule is keep up to date, to ensure any identified tasks are carried out in a timely manner and within the required timeline. To be responsible for regular inspections and identify general maintenance tasks and activities of repair, maintenance and upkeep of the Town Council’s buildings and asset portfolio The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Experience of working on the maintenance of assets and property Horticultural / grounds maintenance environment Experience in using and driving vehicles and machinery Experience and knowledge of using a range of handheld tools Experience of working with the public and communities Experience of health and safety and working within safe practice guidelines CLOSING DATE: Friday 22nd November 2024.
