Care Assistant - BSL (British Sign Language)

We need Support Workers who can use BSL to support Deaf clients. We will provide full training and support to become a healthcare professional. If you have a care qualification or not we would be interested to meet you.
Salary: £11.44 - £12.39 per hour (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
Job Purpose
Support Deaf people by:
1. Encouraging an independent lifestyle
2. Helping Deaf people make decisions/choices
3. Reducing isolation
4. Improving access to information, communication, and mobility
5. Assisting in all areas of everyday life including support in social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and meal times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Follow the care plan and adapt care based on individual needs.
2. Encourage the Deaf person to engage in interesting and useful activities for a good quality of life.
3. Support the Deaf person with personal care tasks if needed.
4. Assist the Deaf person in maintaining their home with simple cleaning and housework.
