An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Adult Registered Nurses to join our friendly and dedicated team on AMU. We are a -bedded acute medical unit managing the admission, assessment and treatment of patients with varied medical conditions. Currently we have plans to expand AMU to deliver a wider range of care and treatment opportunities in the near future.
Main duties of the job
AMU is looking for highly motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and wish to contribute to our vision of providing a high standard of compassionate nursing care. We are seeking to recruit staff nurses who can make a difference with their dedication and expertise whilst upholding the trusts values and behaviours. We are a friendly department with a positive ethos and strong nursing leadership.
Responsibilities will include the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. Assisting in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills and expertise with in house training and support.
