A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a UK known civil engineer manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Design Engineer role offering long term progression and career development.
Role & Responsibilities:
Carrying out surveys and producing reports
Working knowledge of structural timber, steel and stainless steel
Ability to deal with new proposals and provide fee proposals for quotation purposes
To use AutoCAD and produce drawings and sketches by hand understanding and a real desire to work
Understanding and desire to work on projects where the aim is to provide ecologically worthy and energy efficient buildings
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Good knowledge of buildings from sustainable to ordinary buildings
Required of an experienced structural engineer who is competent in the design of all of the regularly-used construction materials and building forms
