IT Support Field Engineer | Hardware, Software, Windows, HP, Dell, Microsoft, Installation, Break/fix | SC Clearance:

The role:
* We are currently working with a leading global technology consultancy who are embarking on an exciting Defence project in 2025. They are looking for 15 IT Engineers to work across various sites in the UK, focusing on Hardware and Software support.
Key Information:
* Duration: 3 months initially - very highly likely extensions.
* Pay: £18.51 per hour Inside IR35 (Umbrella)
* Location: On site in one of 11 different locations:
o London, High Wycombe, Portsmouth, Bristol, Yeovil, Plymouth, Wolverhampton, Caterton, Lisburn, Titworth, Lincoln - whichever one is closest for you!
* Start Date: Feb/March 2025 ideally
The Key Requirements:
* Full clean driver’s license.
* 1st and 2nd line IT Support experience - Desktop Support, Field Engineering, Installation, 2nd Line, Hardware roles etc.
* 2+ years experience in a field service or workshop environment.
* HP and Dell accreditations.
* Experience troubleshooting and fixing hardware and some software faults within Dell, HP, Windows/Microsoft environment.
* Hardware Installation.
* SC Clearance is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to all incidents and requests as required.
* Diagnose and fix hardware faults and basic software faults.
* Adhere to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
* Meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
* Accurate use of ticketing system.
* Collaboration and teamwork within the IT team to provide the best possible service.
