Group Management Accountant – Scunthorpe – £50,000 - £55,000

The successful candidate will contribute by taking ownership of consolidated group reporting, support strategic decision-making, and driving financial excellence across the group as they scale.

Annual wellbeing dayGroup Management Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated reports across multiple entities, providing variance analysis, insights, and commentary
Maintain and develop group-level reporting packs for board stakeholders
Work closely with acquisition businesses to ensure seamless integration into group reporting
Lead group-wide cashflow forecasting, highlighting risks and opportunities
Support working capital management and provide real-time visibility to leadership team.
Coordinate the group’s annual budget and reforecasting
Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to build robust, commercially grounded budgets
Provide technical accounting guidance (FRS 102), including preparation and review of statutory accounts
Support annual audit and tax processes in conjunction with external advisors.
Champion best practices across the ERP system, including chart of accounts structure, reporting automation, and system controls
Lead the finance workstream on acquisitions, including due diligence support, onboarding, and system alignmentRequired Skills & Experience:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) experience in a management accounting or group finance role.
Experience in a multi-entity or group consolidation environment, or potentially someone seeking a first move from practice into industry
IT literacy including ERP systems, Excel and ideally Power BI
Commercially astute, with the confidence to challenge, influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change – someone who gets stuck in and add real value
A passion for continuous improvement and automation
