Due to the expansion of our reception and administration team, we are looking for a receptionist/administrator to join our well-established practice in Camberley.
The role will require you to contribute to the smooth running of a busy patient-facing and back-office operation where you will be provided with an interesting variety of work.
Previous experience working as part of a team, with members of the public, and the ability to work at pace under pressure is essential for this role. Full training will be provided.
The hours required for this role are 15 hours per week:
* Monday 08:00am to 13:00pm
* Tuesday 08:00am to 13:00pm
* Friday 13:30pm to 18:30pm (1 in 2 week pattern)
In addition, you will be required to work an evening shift (3 in 5 week pattern) from 6:30pm to 8:00pm - This would be paid at an overtime rate of £12.60 per hour.
There will also be a requirement for Saturday working on a rota basis, which will be paid at an enhanced rate (we are open 1 in 7 Saturdays).
Main Duties of the Job
The role is primarily reception-based but includes some administration duties. The individual will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administration duties and providing general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to processing new patient registrations, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing information, and assisting patients as required. You will act as the central point of contact for patients, distributing information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

We are a friendly practice, serving a diverse community of approximately 9,000 patients. Our multi-disciplinary team comprises GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians.
