Role Overview:
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring the visual presentation of each product, category, and landing page on the Jaded London website app are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards and commerciality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, managing the visual presentation and layout of products on the Jaded London website and mobile app, ensuring product displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards, driving engagement and sales.
2. Coordinate with the buying and merchandising teams to manage the cadence and visual presentation of drops, ensuring each product release is optimized for user experience and visibility.
3. Ensure products are accurately grouped by Brand, Colour, Category, Size (including size scheme alignment). Regularly audit & flag any discrepancies in product categorization.
4. Uphold the aesthetic standards of Jaded London ensuring consistency across the website and app while showcasing a wide range of diverse products.
5. Work closely with the ecommerce and buying teams to ensure a continuous and strategic flow of new products, presenting them in ways that maximize engagement and conversion.
6. Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to align product launches, promotions, and visuals with broader brand initiatives and campaigns. Be the point of contact for Content and Marketing teams and provide any necessary data and keep inbound tracker up to date.
7. Work closely with the graphic design team to provide all necessary images for upload and flag any product image faults.
8. Create new edits for the app homepage and email/push comms, stay updated on visual merchandising trends in luxury fashion, ensuring the Jaded London remains fresh and on-brand, aligning with seasonal trends and marketing goals.
9. Monitor the impact of visual merchandising efforts on user engagement and product sales, adjusting strategies to optimize visual layout and product visibility.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A proven track record of managing processes to effectively deliver a best-in-class online experience.
2. Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms and functionality especially Shopify Plus.
3. Excellent market awareness and analytical skills. Strong commercial acumen.
4. Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building skills and the ability to influence.
5. A self-starter, able to work autonomously and within teams.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
7. Strong excel skills with experience of using commerce experience clouds.
