We are looking for a HR professional who will work with our divisional and RSK group colleagues in development of our People plan and in operational day-to-day HR practices to ensure effective and timely communication and transactions of information to ensure WRc is an internally and externally compliant and efficient organisation.
This is a full-time hybrid role working 2-3 days per week at our head office based in Swindon. The role will require travel within the UK and internationally as and where required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Stakeholders and Line Managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent and develop/support approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives.
* Working with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.
* In partnership with managers take ownership of implementing the people plan.
* Coaching Managers and individuals.
* Maintain positive relationships with the central HR functions.
* Supporting the HR service team to manage employee relations issues when required.
* Take an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.
* Undertake and lead HR project work as identified.
* Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
* Work with L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored and reported.
* Meet regularly with the Head of People to ensure the consistency and alignment of all the HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).
* Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
Person Specification:
* Degree in Human Resources or equivalent and a Chartered CIPD accreditation to Level 5.
* You will have demonstrable experience relevant to the requirements outlined.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action orientated, resilient with a can-do attitude.
* You will be an active user of all forms of appropriate media, be competent in developing appropriate content in line with corporate guidance.
