We are looking for a HR professional who will work with our divisional and RSK group colleagues in development of our People plan and in operational day-to-day HR practices to ensure effective and timely communication and transactions of information to ensure WRc is an internally and externally compliant and efficient organisation.
This is a full-time hybrid role working 2-3 days per week at our head office based in Swindon. The role will require travel within the UK and internationally as and where required.
WRc is part of the RSK Group which operates individual trading entity model under a divisional structure in an arms-length arrangement. RSK Group has over 200 other businesses and is a thriving operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Stakeholders and Line Managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent and develop/support approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives
* Working with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.
* In partnership with managers take ownership of implementing the people plan.
* Coaching Managers and individuals.
* Maintain positive relationships with the central HR functions.
* Supporting the HR service team to manage employee relations issues when required.
* Take an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.
* Undertake and lead HR project work as identified.
* Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
* Work with L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored and reported.
* Meet regularly with the Head of People to ensure the consistency and alignment of all the HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).
* Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
Person Specification:
* Degree in Human Resources or equivalent and a Chartered CIPD accreditation to Level 5.
* You will have demonstrable experience relevant to the requirements outlined.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills, a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action-oriented, resilient with a can-do attitude.
* You will be an active user of all forms of appropriate media, be competent in developing appropriate content in line with corporate guidance and will be empowered to use personal and company social media accounts to fulfil your role.
