Our client, a global leading manufacturing organisation based in North Lanarkshire is currently hiring for a Production Planner to join the team. This includes maintaining stock levels, controlling inventory, and managing resources and equipment to optimise production planning. You’ll be involved in a variety of key processes, including stock accuracy, raw material management, and supporting the production team to meet customer demand while balancing plant capabilities. Key Responsibilities Include: Ensuring efficient stock levels and minimising stockouts through effective planning. Managing production scheduling to meet customer demand and operational needs. Utilising SAP and IBP tools for seamless communication and coordination with production and customer service teams. Monitoring and controlling inventory, with a focus on raw materials and finished goods. Ensuring safety and compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. Overseeing bulk tanker scheduling and shelf life controls. What We Need from You: Prior experience in a Production Planning or Production Scheduling role. Ability to use data to forecast demand, plan production, and make adjustments as needed. Familiarity with using ERP systems, with SAP being particularly valuable. Strong logical reasoning skills, especially for tasks involving numerical calculations. Proficiency in MS Office, especially with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
