15 hours per week
3 days per week - 9:30am to 3:00pm (30 mins lunch)
Tuesday, Thursday and 1 additional day to be agreed.
(2 days only per week would also be considered)
6-month temporary contract initially with a view to being extended.
The headteacher and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated individual to provide support to the administrative functions of the school.
The successful candidate will:
* have previous experience of working in a busy office environment ideally in a school
* be able to undertake a range of reception duties such as answering the phone, greeting visitors to the school, support with reprographics and general administrative tasks
* demonstrate a sound working knowledge and use of a range of IT programmes
* demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be able to liaise with staff, visitors, parents and pupils.
* ideally have basic knowledge of financial process & procedures
* be an excellent team player who is flexible and well organised
* enjoy working with a supportive and dedicated team of staff
* have the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
* is motivated, passionate and reflective about their work
Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
