Job overview
An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic, patient focused and friendly Ear, Nose and Throat Outpatient Department. We offer a variety of treatments and outpatient procedures including caring for patients with Head and Neck Cancer.
You will be expected to use your own initiative and work alongside existing team members, including our medical team.
If you are motivated and enthusiastic, then we are looking for you. The Ear, Nose & Throat Out-Patients Department is based at the Royal Gwent Hospital; however, you will be required to work across both our sites at Ysybty Ystrad Fawr and Neville Hall Hospital.
Main duties of the job
1. Responsible for the provision of effective, efficient and appropriate high quality nursing care within the Outpatients Department.
2. To contribute to the smooth running of the department, taking charge of the department in the absence of the department manager.
3. To act in accordance with the NMC guidelines and Professional Code of Conduct.
4. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
