Our work will take you in different directions
We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our high performing Service team in Newcastle, NSW. You will be providing servicing and maintenance of KONE’s elevator, auto walks and escalators, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.
What will you be doing?
* Attending to maintenance activities and repairs
* Attending breakdowns on Elevators and Escalators
* Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
* Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
* An ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required
* Flexible with travel covering Newcastle and Central Coast
* Participate in out of hours call out rotating roster
What are we looking for?
* Qualified registered electrical licence required
* Lift industry experience preferred but not essential
* Valid full Australian drivers licence
* Experience managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder expectations
* Motivated and self-starter who can manage workload and competing priorities
* Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
* A customer service mindset
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
