Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established Metabolic Bonetherapy team. We are looking to recruit a motivated, flexible and innovative Occupational Therapist to work within our friendly, supportive, integrated Metabolic Bone team.
The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience and will have worked in a multi-disciplinary team. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic, adaptable and have a keen interest in ongoing learning.
You will find a strong commitment to professional training and development, together with experienced peer group support and preceptorship programme'.
Main duties of the job
1. You will be responsible for the routine occupational therapy assessment and management of a delegated patient caseload that includes the assessment, treatment and management of children with metabolic bone disease and associated problems
2. Youwill be encouraged to work collaboratively with other team members and be supervised regularly by senior staff.
3. You will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team where shared skills will form part of the working practice.

11. HCPC registration.
12. Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
13. Portfolio evidence of reflective practice.
14. An under-graduate case study, essay or dissertation on a paediatric topic
15. Good overall clinical record / profile
