Fantastic opportunity - new role to support the growth of the mainstream children's homes service. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to provide operational oversight to our portfolio of children’s homes within the mainstream services. In this role, you will collaborate with the Head of Service & Responsible Individual to ensure our homes meet high standards, comply with regulations, and deliver exceptional care. Mentor your team, shaping them into exceptional professionals who can see beyond behaviours and focus on the child. Create a dynamic, well-run service that meets the highest standards of care and aligns with its statement of purpose. Collaborate with external agencies to ensure holistic, child-focused outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that each home meets/exceeds budget expectations. Coach and support Registered Home Managers, enhancing individual homes and team performance. Develop and implement internal quality assurance systems in alignment with regulatory processes. Manage budgetary and financial aspects of the homes, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Build and maintain relationships with all professionals, leaders and partners. Support the Head of Service & Responsible Individual in strategic development initiatives. Requirements: Qualifications : Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Children’s Residential Services. Experience : Strong and successful experience in management roles within children’s residential care settings, budget management, staff recruitment, and induction. Skills : Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication, organisational skills, and knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations. Personal Qualities : Driven, focused, aspirational, resilience, approachability, adaptability, and commitment to child protection and safeguarding. It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
