Support students with Autism, aged 11-18, in a small specialist school environment. Provide educational and emotional support to help students access meaningful learning experiences in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Individualised Support: Work closely with each student to provide tailored support that addresses their unique challenges, promoting emotional well-being and engagement with their learning.
* Community Integration: Assist students in participating in activities within the community, fostering independence, social skills, and practical learning experiences outside the school setting.
* Collaboration: Work alongside teachers, key workers, and families to meet each student's educational and emotional needs.
* Safety and Well-being: Ensure that all safeguarding and health protocols are followed at all times, prioritising the safety and comfort of the students.
Requirements:
* Access to own car is essential.
* DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
* Prior experience supporting students with SEN/SEMH needs is desirable but not required.
