As the Service Desk Team Lead, you'll lead a dynamic team of service desk analysts, ensuring seamless IT support that keeps the business running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for problem-solving, mentoring, and delivering results under pressure, all while introducing the latest technologies to keep the business ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering growth and driving success
2. Deliver Excellence: Oversee daily service desk operations, ensuring swift and efficient resolution of all incidents and requests
3. Customer Champion: Build strong relationships with users, resolving issues with confidence and care
4. Innovate: Be the tech expert who leads the way in onboarding new and emerging technologies
5. Stakeholder Partner: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, managing expectations and handling escalations with ease
6. Stay Ahead: Keeping processes sharp and compliant.
Qualifications:
7. Proven experience in IT support as a Service Desk Engineer, ideally with leading/mentoring a small team
8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
9. Cool under pressure, with a knack for quick, effective problem-solving
10. In-depth knowledge of service desk systems and IT tools
11. ITIL Foundation certification
12. Experience in insurance or a similar regulated environment is a bonus.
