Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Manager to join our team and play a key role in our mission to provide outstanding care to our clients in the Midlands region.
As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our domiciliary care services, compliance with regulations, and the highest level of care delivery as well as be involved in innovative care solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
* Oversee a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CQC standards.
* Conduct site visits.
* Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure they meet the changing needs of clients.
* Attend MDT meetings and offer feedback on care delivery.
* Assist in recruitment and training of staff.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders to provide the best possible care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
Skills & Experience Required:
* NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience in community care desirable.
* Experience within adult and children’s services.
* Strong understanding of regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
* A valid UK driving license is desirable.
We would be keen to hear from senior HCAs working in mental health inpatient roles or equivalent.
