Job Description
The Services Sales Engineer (SSE) role is a creative and outgoing, services pre-sales professional with a passion for technology evangelism and custom solution development. The SSE is experienced at both architecting and sizing the service elements required to enable the PANW platform, and is a seasoned presenter on how successful technology, blended with services, translates into business value.
The SSE will contribute to growing the PANW services business by working directly with customers, helping them to define the service requirements necessary to maximize the value from their technology investments. The SSE will work closely with the Services Sales team, Core and Specialist Sales, and will establish close partnerships with Delivery teams, Global Delivery Practices, and other subject matter experts across the Palo Alto Professional Services organization.
The role of an SSE is fast-paced, with the objective of enabling PANW customers to achieve their digital transformation securely and safely, utilizing surrounding services to meet each customer’s unique needs.
The successful candidate will assist customers in planning for large-scale transformations, recommending the appropriate blend of services to leverage the value within the PANW portfolio.

* Working with Services Sales to articulate PANW's unique perspective on GTM services.
* Gathering, understanding, and defining customer-specific requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes.
* Collaborating with Services Sales, Delivery, and Global Practices to construct solution proposals and Statements of Work.
* Driving business growth for PANW Services in your aligned territory.
Qualifications
Your Experience
* Proven track record in technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or delivery experience within an IT or Cyber Security services organization.
* Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
* Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Experience in discovery/scope definition workshops with cross-functional internal and customer resources.
* Highly proficient in network infrastructure-based security appliances, including Firewalls, VPNs, Security Proxies, SASE, Public Cloud environments, and CNAPP.
* Security Operations (SecOps) experience is desirable.
* PANW Platform experience will be an extra asset.
