This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor to contribute to a busy and expanding team while handling a range of contentious probate matters. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, delivering high-quality legal services, and helping to grow the firm's client portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Development : Use effective marketing skills, social media, networking, and internal cross-referrals to develop a growing client portfolio. Client Work & Case Management : Handle court proceedings, provide advice in writing, over the phone, and during meetings. Maintain accurate records, meeting notes, and conduct advocacy where appropriate. Compliance & Risk Management : Adhere to compliance policies, manage client expectations, and mitigate risks effectively. Case & File Management : Maintain effective and efficient management of case files, ensuring high standards of client service. New Enquiries : Handle and manage new client enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses. Team Support & Development : Support in the growth and development of team members, contributing to their ongoing success. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) : Participate in training sessions and remain updated with changes in the field of contentious probate. Marketing & Networking : Engage in marketing initiatives, including the delivery of webinars and podcasts, and attend charity and networking events. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: Experience : At least 3 years PQE in dispute resolution, ideally with a focus on contentious probate. Quality-Focused : Takes personal pride in delivering high-quality work to the firm's standards. Client Management Skills : Ability to manage client expectations effectively and maintain high levels of service. Knowledge of Lexcel : Understands the requirements and standards needed for Lexcel accreditation. Communication Skills : Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of interacting with a diverse range of clients and colleagues. IT Proficiency : Familiar with case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Self-Motivated : Able to perform to targets and work efficiently and reliably. Collaborative Attitude : Works autonomously but also effectively collaborates with team members at all levels.
