1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant

An outstanding School, in Ealing are looking for a Full Time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September, to support a child within their SEN unit on a 1:1 basis, supporting them with their development and learning throughout the academic year.
They are looking for someone who has experience working in both education and a vast amount of experience supporting children and young people with Special Needs within the classroom. You must be both positive, proactive and a patient individual who remains in a positive outlook and always willing to progress. To have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
SEN Teaching Assistant Main Responsibilities:
• Supporting children with Autism/ASC, complex needs, and Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)
• Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities, as well as monitoring and assessing children’s achievement and progress
• Actively involved in a wide range of activities, promoting the physical, cognitive, cultural, social, and emotional well-being of the pupils
• Actively interacting with children through play-based and sensory-related activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
