Main duties of the job
Ground breaking cancer treatment, emergency care and innovative diagnostic medicine are all in a day's work at UHS and the management accounting team help support this amazing work.
An opportunity has arisen for a management accountant within the finance team. We are looking for someone skilled at developing relationships as well as analysing complex information. You will be working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team and should have the ability to prioritise a demanding workload and have strong Excel skills. You will have a flexible approach and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. You will have good information sharing skills and strong attention to detail.

Person Specification
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
* Health & physical abilities sufficient for the post (if necessary, with reasonable adjustments with respect to the Equality Act/Disability Discrimination Act)
* Graduate Level/AAT Member plus experience/studying for professional qualification to certificate level or equivalent knowledge and experience. 3 years' experience in a finance environment.
* Understanding of basic budgetary control processes.
* Comfortable with IT and able to use spreadsheet modelling packages.
* Understanding of Financial systems and general ledger.
* Previous experience in a team supervising members of a team. NHS/Public sector Experience.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year or pro rata.
